The Training Center of the Arab Open University (AOU) organized the Project Management Professional (PMP) training program for the 17th consecutive time. It is the last time to be organized on the basis of using the 5th edition of PMBOK, which is accredited by Project Management Institute (PMI). Attended by a number of representatives from public and private bodies and companies, the program was delivered by Eng. Ehab Shaban, IT Project Manager at the AOU, where he addressed a number of topics, such as the project general framework, schedule, and management of communication, procurement, stakeholders, and project integrity.
Finally, Dr. Sami Khalifa, Manager of the Center, handed the certificates to the trainees, stressing the importance of the Center's role in spreading knowledge and developing capabilities and its contribution to preparing manpower required by the development plans in Arab countries including Kuwait. He also added that driven by the AOU's noble vision and mission, the Center has partnerships and agreements with several public and private bodies that on the whole aim to provide consultancy and training services as well as community service.
