His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Open University, paid a visit to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Abdulaziz Konsowa, to congratulate him on assuming his new ministerial position.
The visit was accompanied by His Excellency the President of the Arab Open University in the Arab world, Prof. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Zakari, and the President of the Arab Open University in Egypt, Prof. Mohammed Hamza. The visit came within the framework of strengthening academic and scientific cooperation and exploring avenues for developing educational and research programs in support of enhancing the quality of higher education in Egypt.
During the meeting, the University’s journey and achievements across its various branches were reviewed, along with discussions on its future plans for expansion and the development of specialized programs, particularly in the areas of digital transformation, scientific research, and community service.
His Royal Highness affirmed the Board of Trustees’ commitment to supporting the University’s mission of providing high-quality education in accordance with the highest academic standards. Meanwhile, His Excellency the Minister commended the significant role played by the Arab Open University in supporting the higher education system and expanding flexible learning opportunities for students across the Arab world.
