The Arab Open University concluded the “Empowered Leadership Preparation” program, which started on August 25, 2024, and continued until August 30, 2024, at Duke University in the United States.
In a statement, Prof. Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al-Zakari, President of the Arab Open University in the Arab world, emphasized that the program aimed to enhance the leadership and management skills of the participants, focusing on developing the strategic capabilities necessary to effectively achieve institutional goals.
He added that the program seeks to empower participants to lead change and encourage active participation in decision-making.
Prof. Al-Zakari also explained that the collaboration with Duke University provided an opportunity to expand academic networks and partnerships, enhancing the exchange of knowledge and experiences between different educational institutions.
He confirmed that improving organizational performance was a key focus, with practical tools and strategies presented to achieve this goal.
