AOU Council held its 83rd meeting yesterday via video conferencing, chaired by Prof. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Zakari, with the participation of the university's vice presidents, branch directors, and representatives of the faculty members.
During the meeting, the council discussed several issues, including the approval of the minutes of the previous meeting and the follow-up on the implementation of its decisions. It also reviewed student affairs, the challenges facing the university, and developments in its buildings. Additionally, the meeting addressed financial performance and the key indicators of the 2024/2025 strategic plan, along with discussions on artificial intelligence initiatives, sustainability, health and well-being, business development, entrepreneurship and innovation, micro-credentials, global rankings, and IT projects.
These discussions aimed to enhance the quality of education and strengthen the university's regional and international standing​​
