In a significant step toward enhancing regional cooperation in the fields of media, sustainable development, and gender equality, the Arab Open University (AOU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR) at the center’s headquarters in the Tunisian capital.
The agreement was signed in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al-Zakari, President of the Arab Open University, and Her Excellency Prof. Sakina Buarawi, Executive Director of CAWTAR. Both parties agreed to collaborate on raising awareness and building capacities related to women and media issues, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
This partnership reflects the commitment of both institutions to support academic and training initiatives that address women’s and societal issues in the Arab world.
