The Union of Arab Banks honored His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud with the “Leadership Vision Award” during the Arab International Banking Summit held in Paris on June 20, 2025. The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency French President Emmanuel Macron and attended by prominent Arab and international figures. This recognition comes in appreciation of Prince Abdulaziz’s contributions to development and social work, particularly through his leadership of the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) and the Board of Trustees of the Arab Open University.
In his speech, Prince Abdulaziz expressed his pride in receiving the award, recalling the legacy of his late father, Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, and affirming that true development is rooted in empowering people and ensuring dignity for all. The award is one of the highest honors granted by the Union and was awarded to His Royal Highness unanimously by the Board of Directors in recognition of his regional and international efforts in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals.
