The 85th meeting of the Arab Open University Council was held in the Arab Republic of Egypt on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, under the chairmanship of Prof. Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al-Zakari, President of the University, and in the presence of council members from the university’s various branches.
The Council discussed a number of academic, administrative, and financial matters, most notably the review of the financial performance and the annual report, as well as the follow-up on the implementation of the strategic plan and the university’s progress in the fields of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and holistic health and well-being, in addition to the ongoing efforts to open new branches of the university in other countries.
