Duties
- Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
- Provides financial status information by preparing special reports .
- Corrects errors by posting adjusting journal entries.
- Maintains general ledger accounts by adjusting entries for amortizations prepaids; analyzing and reconciling retainage and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions.
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; reconciling entries.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential.
Qualifications
- University degree in accounting with 5 years relevant work experience
- Experience in Oracle Finance
- Ability to with-stand work related stress
- Effective time management
- Ability to work on multiply tasks
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proactive
