As part of the Arab Open University (AOU) and the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND)’s commitment to strengthening international academic partnerships and expanding cooperation in the tourism and hospitality sectors, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the AOU Board of Trustees, accompanied by Prof. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Zakari, President of the Arab Open University in the Arab World, and Mr. Hammam bin Jareed, CEO of AGFUND, visited Vatel University in Paris.
The delegation met with several university officials to discuss opportunities for academic and training cooperation and explore the development of joint programmes and initiatives in tourism and hospitality.
Vatel is an internationally recognised institution specialising in tourism, hotel management, and hospitality education. Its first school was established in Paris in 1981, and the institution has since expanded internationally to include more than 55 schools worldwide.
