About Program

"The accounting- Arabic track aims to provide the students with the knowledge, skills and values that enable them to be distinguished in practicing accounting (a distinguished accounting practitioner), and creative in devising non-traditional solutions for the business environment challenges.

Career Opportunities
1. Public Accounting:  Students with accounting degrees can Offer services to the public such as Auditing and Taxation after getting a license from the relevant authority.
2. Private Accounting:  Instead of working in public accounting, students can choose to be an employee of a commercial company such as Starbucks, Pepsi or Splash.
3. Forensic Accounting: Forensic accounting uses accounting, auditing and investigative skills to conduct investigations into theft and fraud. This includes tracing money laundering and identifying theft activities as well as tax evasion. Generally, Insurance companies hire forensic accountants to detect insurance fraud.
4. Opportunities in Government: Students may work in one of the government agencies. For example, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI) and Security and Exchange Commission(SEC). 

Program Duration
The regular ​number of semesters for a Bachelor's degree is eight​ ​​regular​ semesters and one summer semester​.
The maximum number of semesters for a Bachelor's degree is twenty-four semesters (twelve academic years) excluding summers.​​

Method of Delivery
The method of teaching for all faculty of business studies' programmes is full time teaching/ blended learning"
