Prof. Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al-Zakari, President of the Arab Open University, participated in the opening of the exhibition “Prince Talal… A History Read by Generations”, held yesterday at the Alexandria Library. The event was attended by a distinguished group of prominent figures and individuals interested in thought and culture.
Prof. Al-Zakari’s participation reaffirmed pride in the rich legacy left by the late Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz — may God rest his soul — in the fields of education, development, and humanitarian work. It also embodied the role of the University he founded in highlighting his pioneering contributions, which will remain a source of inspiration for future generations.
The Arab Open University is proud that the “Prince Talal: A History Read by Generations” exhibitions are held under its auspices, as an expression of loyalty to its founder, in commemoration of his memory, efforts, and developmental vision. The exhibition also witnessed the participation of the University’s administration and its students in Egypt, who were keen to engage with its activities, reflecting the University’s approach of involving students in cultural and intellectual events and enhancing their awareness of the founder’s history and his pioneering role in serving Arab societies.
