A student at the Arab Open University in Egypt won first place in the qualifying rounds and finals of the Cybersecurity Competition, held in cooperation with the National Center for Computer and Network Emergency Preparedness (EG-CERT) of the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA). Mohamed Tarek Mohamed Ali, a fourth-year student in the Information Technology and Computing program at the Arab Open University in Egypt, participated in the competition alongside more than 60 teams from various universities. The top 15 teams qualified for the finals of the competition, which is an opportunity for all talented university students interested in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to test and hone their intellectual, creative, and competitive skills. In a related development, the Arab Open University team in Egypt achieved a well-deserved victory in the international robotics programming competition. The Arab Open University extended its sincere thanks to the distinguished trainers from Smart Techno Students, who played a significant role in raising the students' level and motivating them to achieve this success.

Arab Open University graduate Mohamed Issa wins first place in the 2024 Egyptian Bowling Individual Cup Mohamed Issa, a player at the Tala'ea El-Geish Club, won first place in the 2024 Egyptian Bowling Individual Cup. Issa, a prominent member of the Arab Open University Alumni Council in Egypt, demonstrated outstanding performance in bowling. Professor Mahmoud Abu El-Nasr, President of the Arab Open University in Egypt, congratulated graduate Mohamed Issa and emphasized the university's commitment to various activities for both students and graduates. Bowling is a popular game around the world and a fun way to spend quality time with family and friends indoors. It is worth noting that the first appearance of this game in the modern era was in England, specifically in the eleventh century, in 1895.
