Vision

Faculty of Media and Mass Communication at the Arab Open University looks forward to maintaining its distinguished role in the Arab world as one of the educational and research institutions. It aims at achieving a prestigious international position with the quality of its outputs, and establishing purposeful partnerships to build a society of science and knowledge.

Mission

Faculty of Media and Mass Communication at the Arab Open University is committed to keeping up with the successive technological developments in the media field and applying international quality standards in teaching and training. It prepares distinguished graduates who can compete in the media field, in addition to its research role in building a society of science and knowledge. It has a great societal role in supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and pay close attention to community issues and core problems.

Goals

Applying quality standards in the teaching process.
Partnerships with media and press organizations and the development of programs that meet the requirements of the media labour market.
Produce attractive visual educational materials for students.
Encouraging faculty members to publish internationally in the field of media.
Development of practical training for students.
Activating the college's societal role in serving the community.
Opening new branches of the college at the university's branches.
Establishing a database for college graduates in the university's branches to enhance communication with them.
Enhance the college's image through marketing its activities and initiative in the media.
