EduAssist is a mobile application that connects university faculty, students, and support teams in real-time to solve common problems that happen during lectures.
What it does:
Professors can start, pause, or end their lectures with one click. When problems occur during class like equipment failure, security threats, or medical emergencies, they can instantly request help from IT, security, or medical teams without leaving the classroom or making phone calls.
Students receive automatic notifications about their lecture status so they know if a class has started, is on break, or has been cancelled. They can also use the app to find their classroom location.
Support teams (IT, security, medical) receive alerts immediately when a professor needs help, with location information so they can respond quickly.
Administrators have a central dashboard to monitor all ongoing lectures and track support requests across the university.
The main idea:
Instead of using separate tools for different problems (email for IT issues, phone calls for emergencies, asking friends about lecture status), EduAssist puts everything in one simple app that works instantly on mobile phones.
