A student at the Arab Open University in Egypt won first place in the qualifying rounds and finals of the Cybersecurity Competition, held in cooperation with the National Center for Computer and Network Emergency Preparedness (EG-CERT) of the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA).
Mohamed Tarek Mohamed Ali, a fourth-year student in the Information Technology and Computing program at the Arab Open University in Egypt, participated in the competition alongside more than 60 teams from various universities.
The top 15 teams qualified for the finals of the competition, which is an opportunity for all talented university students interested in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to test and hone their intellectual, creative, and competitive skills.
