This project, Smart Spend, introduces a novel, AI-powered financial management
system designed to move beyond simple transaction tracking. The system
utilizes Machine Learning (ML) models to autonomously classify granular
spending patterns, predict future cash flow gaps, and identify unnecessary
expenditure. Crucially, Smart Spend employs a Reinforcement Learning (RL)
framework
to
generate
highly
personalized,
prescriptive
budgeting
recommendations, effectively coaching the user toward optimal financial
behavior.
